Janis Joplin Stockholm Sweden April 19th, 1969
Here comes Janis Joplin's show in Stockholm, Sweden on April 19th, 1969. I am unsure how common this show is in trading circles, but it is stunning so I have decided to share it with you guys out there anyway. This is a direct to digital recording of a TV-broadcast encoded at 192 kb/s. I watched the show as I recorded it. Cool black and white footage, but I had no suitable equipment to record the event so I stuck with just audio. No VHS-tapes, no analog cassettes involved here. Check this one out, you will not be disappointed. The sound quality is original. Kickass A+ head on. I am no big fan of Joplin myself, but I do recognize her as an icon hands down and I like some of the songs she made. However, the rendition of Summertime here is just legendary. The set is short, but it was all that was broadcasted. Enjoy!
